N-Dubz have spent more than two weeks recording new album Against All Odds at the town’s Chairworks studio.

And they took 20 minutes out of a busy schedule to pose up in Mr Box’s studio – in the same building as Chairworks.

Dappy Tulisa and Fazer were so impressed with the results they are keen to use some images of artwork on the album, due to be released on November 16.

The double Mobo award winners worked through Wednesday night into Thursday morning this week to put the finishing touches to the recording.

Wedding, fashion and portrait photographer Mr Box, 44, said: “The band are really pleased with the photographs, they described them as ’stunning’. Dappy said to Fazer they might use some in the album.”

After hearing most of the new record during recording Mr Box described it as “fabulous”.

Mr Box, younger brother of Wakefield Council leader Peter Box, added: “There are a lot of good young bands recording here and there
will be more established stars coming.

“Having my studio here is a great tie-in. If people are recording upstairs I get a vibe of the music bands are producing and can produce images to complement it.”

Ryan Jarvis, 41, who runs Chair-works, said: “Andrew is a very good photographer and has a knack for catching the moment and getting the right look for bands.”

Mr Jarvis said Chair-works is one of the top 10 recording studios in the country.

He recently bought a £270,000 when new mixing desk from Take That star Gary Barlow.
